Cody Bowen was born and raised on his family’s century old farm in the small town of Spruce Pine, Alabama and his small town roots are evident in his writing style. His small town backroad riding, campfire pickin’ storytelling style will take you back to those same dusty dirt roads in your mind. Cody began his journey into writing and playing after high school. Sharing the stage with the likes of Rick Carter, Stan Foster, and Barry Waldrop (of Rollin’ In The Hay), Zac Brown, Oteil Burbridge, Jason Isbell, and many more. He has also cowritten with Jimmy Thrasher, Bruce Burch, and Mark Narmore.

Cody Prides himself of putting a little of his own style into the songs that he covers. You might here a Country version of the Black Crowes "She Talks to Angels" jammed into Nelly's "Ride With ME" leading to one of Cody's very own originals followed up by Prince's "Purple Rain".
